When did you become a stylist?

I started cosmetology school in 2025 and I got licensed in April of 2026.

What do you enjoy most about the salon?

I enjoy the friendly inviting atmosphere it provides and the beautiful location it sits in historic downtown Overland Park.

What would you say your personal style is?

It's very alternative, generally leaning towards black and darker colors, but I love bright and fun accessories to create a look unique to me. I lean into the odd ie. taxidermy pieces, crazy makeup, etc.

What do you see for yourself in the future?

I see myself providing an accepting environment for queer people and anyone who might feel they don't fit in. I would like to specialize in alternative cuts and looks and all the funky things.

What are you most passionate about?

I am passionate about making people feel more like themselves. As a trans and queer individual I understand how good feeling and looking like your best and most authentic self can be.

What's your favorite thing about hair?

My favorite thing about hair is that a similar look can look different depending on your hair type, density, and style you chose to wear it in. It creates endless possibilities.

Why do you love being a stylist?

I love seeing people's confidence and expression shine. Having hair that screams you and that you love can make you feel so much more like yourself.

What is it like to be in my chair?

Being in my chair is being in an accepting place that meets you where you are at! If you want to tell me all about your bright and colorful life, talk about music, anything like that is always welcome, and with the same enthusiasm I welcome and encourage silent appointments for those who desire it! All are welcome :)

Do you have a favorite type of music?

I listen to a lot of different types of music honestly! I love some midwest emo, folk, some things on the sadder side (ie Noah Kahan, Annabelle Dinda, etc.), rock, metal, but as of right now I'm really into Emma Harner and Noah Kahan.
