HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR APPROACH AS A STYLIST?

I always do my best to make each guest's dream hair come to light.

 

WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT THE SALON?

Our salon is just so welcoming. The space is so refreshing and calming. It’s perfect to work in and relax.

 

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY YOUR PERSONAL STYLE IS LIKE?

I'd say my style is semi-edgy. I like doing vibrant colors and big chops. I think the instant gratification and wow factor is so fun!

 

WHAT DO YOU SEE FOR YOURSELF IN THE FUTURE?

I’d love to move to a big city someday.  I am also very passionate about vivid colors and I’d love to build  a name for myself in that market.

 

WHAT ARE YOU MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT?

I'm most passionate about showing people how beautiful they already are.

 

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT HAIR?

I love that no two people will ever have the same hair. Every strand and every person is unique.

 

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT SAGE COLOUR STUDIO?

I love the other stylists, the clients, the area, and the atmosphere. There is just so much here to love. Everything and everyone works so well together.

 

WHY DO YOU LOVE BEING A STYLIST?

I love being able too express myself and help others express themselves through their hair.

 

WHAT IS IT LIKE TO BE IN MY CHAIR?

I like to think it's very welcoming and inclusive, a safe space, especially for demographics that may sometimes find salon environments to be less than welcoming, overwhelming or just uncomfortable.  I have fidget toys you can play with throughout your appointment if you'd like and I offer "silent appointments" if you would prefer to just quietly enjoy your appointment. Every one of every gender, sexuality, and neurodiversity is welcome in my chair.

 

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE TRAVEL DESTINATION?

I don't get to travel as much as I'd like to. However, I did love Hawaii. It was so beautiful and interesting. Never a dull moment.

 

IS THERE SOMEWHERE YOU’D LIKE TO TRAVEL TO? IF YES, WHAT APPEALS TO YOU

ABOUT IT?

I would love to go to Italy. It's gorgeous, of course, but pasta, cheese and coffee. It all just sounds amazing.

 

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE TYPE OF MUSIC? HOW ABOUT A FAVORITE BAND?

I'm into alt-rock mostly. I listen to lots of stuff though. I'm listening to a lot of The Killers and Moon Walker.
